Statehouse Christmas Tree Cut in Sharon

Leonard Moffatt, 40, of Sharon, Vt., appeared in Windham Superior Court on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, for a pre-trial conference. Moffat, was held without bail in the shooting death of Sultan Rashed. Rashed was found dead in his car on Old Ferry Road in Brattleboro, Vt., on Nov. 9, 2015. According to court documents, Moffatt owed Rashed $10,000. (Brattleboro Reformer - Kristopher Radder)
