SHARON — When working in her blueberry patch last month, Nancy Karon drops leaves she had raked at her home in Sharon.

After cleaning up the space, Karon returned with her tractor to pick up the leaf litter.

She and her husband have a large vegetable garden.

“It’s a labor of love,” she said.
