BRIDGEWATER — Jennifer Beliveau enjoys unwinding after work with her flock of chickens late last month.

She said she gives them food and says “hello to the ladies to see how they are doing.”

She has about 32 birds, including three roosters. Beliveau has been raising chickens for eight years.
