SHARON — In ballot voting Tuesday, voters approved a $7.1 million bond to renovate the Sharon Elementary School, 232-166.

From the floor at the School meeting on Monday night, voters elected Sylvia Moore to a three-year term on the School Board.

They also approved a school budget of $6.8 million, which is up from the $6.27 million school budget voters approved last year.

By Australian ballot on Tuesday, they elected Ted Austin to a three-year term on the Selectboard. He was uncontested for the seat.

During the town floor meeting, most articles passed to include an amended budget. The Fire Department appropriation listed in article 5 for $10,000 was increased to $14,000 from the floor.
