Hartland
Jaime Hester, the bride’s brother-in-law, officiated at the ceremony. The bride’s sister, Meggan Hester, was the matron of honor and Mary Durant was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Valerie Curran, Maria Ochoa, Anastasia Steele, Elizabeth Flanders, Ellen Haight, Jessica Stephensen and the bridegroom’s sister Madison Neisus.
Jon Curran was the best man. Brendan Steele, Evan Beirne, Michael Ballo, Keven Velerdo, Sevi Calmi, George Zolotus, and Patrick Neisus were the groomsmen. The bridegroom’s niece Brielle Neisus was the flower girl and his nephew Aiden Neisus was the ring bearer.
The bride’s bouquet was wrapped in satin from her maternal grandmother’s wedding dress and she wore the garter that her mother wore at her wedding in 1974. The ring bearer pillow was made from lace handkerchiefs that belonged to the bride’s maternal and paternal great-grandmothers.
Wedding guests were given polished stones to hold during the ceremony to add their blessings and good wishes for the couple. They will keep these as a symbol of the love of support of family and friends. The wedding cake and desserts were displayed on slabs of maple from the Stacey property in Hartland. To celebrate their Vermont roots, the couple left the reception, which was also held at the museum, in a flurry of manufactured snow.
The bride is the daughter of June F. and Robert H. Stacey, of Hartland. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2006 and attended Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Conn.
The bridegroom is the son of Kaye Bradley and husband Jon Olson, of Amesbury, Mass., and Mark Bradley, of Jackson Hole, Wyo. He graduated from Hopkinton High School in Hopkinton, Mass., in 2004 and earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from St. John’s University in Jamaica, N.Y., in 2008. He is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour.
The couple honeymooned in Italy and live in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., with their mini golden doodle, Penny.
