WEST TOPSHAM, VT — Elsie E. (O’Donnell) Cilley of West Topsham, Vermont died January 2, 2019 at the age of 87.
Born in Vershire, Vermont September 4, 1931, she was the daughter of Hugh B. and Claudia (Button) O’Donnell.
She married Charles T. Cilley of West Topsham, Vermont on December 24, 1949. They lived several years in Corinth, Vermont before moving to the family farm in West Topsham, Vermont. Together they enjoyed gardening, square and contra dancing, and were well known locally as sugar makers.
Survivors include her children, Sylvet Cilley and her husband Yves of Quebec; Neil Cilley and his partner Sheila, Deborah MacRitchie and her husband Butch, and daughter-in-law Lesley Dinesen, all of West Topsham, Vermont; brothers Leo O’Donnell and James O’Donnell; sister Gloria Huston; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Charles (1991) and son Wendell (2008).
