Windsor
After scoring just four runs in their previous five contests, the Jacks cranked 14 in a 22-4, five-inning win over Mill River at home.
The bottom third of Windsor’s lineup accounted for half of its hits, with Duncan Frazer (3-for-3, double, three RBIs), Brandon Tillman (2-for-3, double, two runs) and the No. 8 combination of Allen Heidiman and Casey Husband (one hit each) all contributing.
The Yellowjackets were ahead 13-0 after two innings, a welcome offensive burst after being outscored in their previous three games, 18-3.
“We’d been having trouble scoring runs lately, but we hit hard today,” Windsor coach Jamie Richardson said. “Nine guys got hits today, so we were pretty good up and down the lineup, but especially that bottom third of the order.”
Windsor pitcher Nick Kapuscinski (five innings, nine hits, four runs, two strikeouts, one walk) earned his second win of the year.
Thetford
Lindahl drove in Jack Sweet (fielder’s choice) and Connor Brown (single) as Thetford avenged an earlier loss to Northfield and snapped a three-game losing streak overall.
Seth Boyce and Lawson Ouelette made their lone hits of the game count, Boyce producing a run-scoring triple and Ouelette an RBI double for Thetford.
Alden Nichols gave up four hits and two earned runs, striking out five and walking one for the win on the mound.
Orford
Charlie Bradley went 2-for-5 with three RBIs, Jake Kilmer went 2-for-4 with a double and Sam Tilden was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Raptors. Dashiel Fukushima (six innings, 11 hits) struck out nine for Rivendell.
Montpelier
Originally scheduled to be played in Bradford, Vt., it was shifted to Montpelier because several Solons were involved in advanced placement exams that would have caused them to miss the game, O’s coach Shawn French said.
The Olympians scored four runs in the first, the big hit coming on Eddie White’s two-RBI double.
Sunapee
Robinson also contributed offensively, cranking a two-run homer in the first inning, while Kier Lucas finished 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and Cole Cruz went 1-for-3 with an RBI double for Sunapee (10-1).
The Lakers host Hinsdale on Monday.

Emily Emerson went 7-for-12 and Carley Malloy went 6-for-12 in the two games, each getting at least three hits in both contests.
Maddie Kingsbury smashed a three-run home run in game one.
Freshman Lily Vaughan earned a win in her first varsity start in game two, striking out two and walking six in an abbreviated complete game.
Thetford hosts U-32 on Tuesday.

Meg Frederick also had two hits, including a triple, scored one run and batted in two; and Jessica Parsons added three hits, two doubles and three runs. Katie Frederick had two hits, one run and an RBI. Faith Larpenter earned a strikeout in relief. Sunapee (11-0) hosts Derryfield on Monday.
Chester, Vt.
Gabbi Rozumek had three hits and a pair of RBIs, while Kaila Lemmer cranked two hits with an RBI triple for the Wasps.
Hannah Reali (2) and Heather Blanchard had the other hits for Woodstock.

Trombly, normally Springfield’s starter, missed the first inning while taking an advanced placement exam, according to Canes coach Gary Gervais. She entered in the second, striking out nine and walking four the rest of the way.

Stephanie Carl struggled in the circle, allowing 12 hits, seven earned runs and recording only one strikeout, but was Newport’s prolific offense threat with two runs, three hits and two RBIs. Samantha McNeel added two hits and a run, and Gabby Scanlon added one hit and scored one.
Mascenic scored four runs in the fourth inning.
South Royalton
Summer Spaulding had an RBI double, while Rachel Moore gave up seven hits, struck out five and walked three in seven innings.

No. 1 singles Jacob Peress, No. 2 singles Terran Campbell and No. 3 singles Noah Didehban each won 8-0 points for the Raiders. Peress and Campbell won at No. 1 doubles 8-1.
Hanover
Dickson defeated Spaulding’s Jake McCutcheon 8-2 at No. 1 singles and Anthony-DuScheid won his match at No. 6 singles 8-0. Hanover (7-2) travels to Winnacunnet today.
Springfield, Vt.
Kamel tied Connor Salusc of the host Cosmos who, along with Windsor, did not have enough golfers present for a team score.
Ryan Landgraf (45), Jacon Kamel (48) and Jake Perkins (53) also scored for the Raptors.
Sam Dwyer and Cody Wessel each shot 44 for Hartford, while Brandon Dwyer shot a 51 and Ben Healy 52 for the Hurricanes. Jacob Sturgis shot a 50 and Ben Meagher 51 for Windsor.

Abby Palin took first in the girls 1,600 at 6:12, 16 seconds ahead of Newport’s Kennedy Pysz. Ziqian Han won the girls triple jump and the 100. Elsa Pierson won the girls shot put to put the Lakers over the edge.
Mascoma’s Haley Bissonnette took second in the shot put. Stevens’ Audrey Puksta took first in the girls 200.
The Newport boys took victories in the 100, 400, 300 hurdles, 4×400, discus and high jump to edge Kearsarge. Mascoma took first for the boys.

The duos of Evelyn Miller-Aislinn O’Connor, Ashley Woodside-Ashlyn Ramsay and Lauren Blanchard-Maddy Gemerek win in doubles play, then Woodside and Miller won in singles to clinch the victory.
Hanover

While in Hanover, he was captain of the cross country ski team as a senior and was twice named an NCAA All-American.
After graduation, Osgood became a professional cross country ski racer (2003-11), competing in the Under-23 World Championship (2004) and World Cup (2009). He was also a U.S. ski team European Continental Cup Trip team member (2007-10).
