Lebanon, N.H. — Arnold B. Levin, 81, passed away in the comfort of his home Monday, March 28, 2016. He was born Oct. 18, 1934, in New York, N.Y. to the late David and Claire Levin.

He grew up in Norwalk, Conn. and attended Dartmouth College, class of 1956. He worked in New York City in his father’s business with his brother Gene and family partner Norman Bronstein, as a diamond importer for over 30 years. He married Roslyn Rappaport from Wilton, Conn. and they raised their three sons in Westport, Conn. Arnie and Rocky enjoyed visiting Dartmouth and the Upper Valley often and moved here permanently in 1984.

Arnie enjoyed spending time on the water fishing and canoeing, made many wonderful memories traveling the world with Rocky, and loved playing the piano and entertaining others.  Arnie also enjoyed volunteering his time for several worthwhile causes as a resident of Lebanon.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Roslyn Levin; three sons, Steven Levin and his wife, Rondi, David Levin and his wife, Alison, and Ken Levin and his wife, Kathy; six grandchildren, Jake, Alex, Sam, Nicholas, Matthew and Sarah; and his nieces, Debbie Schulenberg and Jennifer Eichhorn and his nephew, Doug Levin, the children of his brother, Gene.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Should one chose, memorial donations can be made to the Upper Valley Haven, In Memory of Arnold Levin, 713 Hartford Avenue, White River Junction, VT 05001.

The family would like to acknowledge the tremendous support and care provided by members of the Lebanon Police Department and Hanover Fire Department.
