White River Junction — Cover Home Repair is looking for donations of furniture, appliances, tools, building supplies and more to sell in its Recover store. The nonprofit on South Main Street could also use a hand sorting donated items.
We love to have regular volunteers come in once a week, said Mary Sutton-Smith, volunteer coordinator. “If people could stay for at least four hours, that would be the best.”
But if they can only help now and again, that’s OK, too.
“We’re happy for a one-off,” Sutton-Smith said.
The store is open Tuesday-Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from noon-5 p.m.
Sales help fund weatherization projects and urgently needed repairs for homeowners, including roof and structural floor repairs and accessibility ramp construction.
