Grantham — Heddy and Theodore Fantl, of Grantham, have announced the engagement of their son, Justin Samuel Fantl, to Katrina Mudd Sprague.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marianne Morrow Sprague, of Santa Barbara, Calif., and the late Norman F. Sprague. She graduated from The Cate School in Carpinteria, Calif., in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, in 2009. She is employed as the assistant director of annual giving at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, Calif.

The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Lebanon High School in 1998 and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., in 2002. He earned a master’s of fine arts in photography from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Calif., in 2008 and is employed as a commercial and editorial photographer, represented by Giant Artists, in Los Angeles.

The couple live in Marina Del Rey, Calif., and plan a July wedding in Santa Barbara.
