Claremont — A man died on Sunday afternoon in Moody Park after being trapped under his car in a wooded area off the park’s access road.

Police, firefighters and Golden Cross Ambulance responded to the scene. When they located the car, fire personnel lifted it off the man.

Police said he was unresponsive and had died before the car was removed. His name is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Police said he was 37 and lived in the Claremont/Charlestown area.
