Grantham — A motor vehicle road rage incident on Tuesday morning on Interstate 89 was caught on camera.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for the driver of a white Ford Expedition after the driver allegedly caused a car crash near mile marker 48 in Grantham that sent two people to the hospital.

The driver fled the scene, according to a news release issued on Tuesday afternoon by New Hampshire State Police.

Investigation into the crash revealed the driver of a white Volkswagen Jetta and the driver of the Ford were traveling northbound on I-89 around 7:30 a.m. when the driver of the Ford passed the Volkswagen and merged back into the travel lane while braking.

The driver of the Ford struck the Volkswagen, which caused the driver of the Volkswagen to lose control and strike a bridge abutment.

Photographs attached to the news release show that a camera inside the Volkswagen recorded part of the incident.

The two occupants in the Volkswagen, one of whom was a young passenger, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

The names of those involved weren’t released.

Anyone who has information about the crash should call state police at 603-223-8697.
