West Lebanon, N.H. — Ruth G. Gray, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was born in Concord, Mass. to the late Warren E. & Mary E. (Wheeler) Brown on April 23, 1941. She graduated from Lebanon High School, Class of 1959. Over the years Ruth had been a member of several organizations serving on their councils; Rebecca’s, Daughters of American Revolution, Lebanon Emblem Club, Lebanon Grange including State Master of Florida and serving on the National Grange Executive Committee. Ruth worked for various companies A&W, Split Ball Bearing, Dartmouth College, Yankee Barns and the Hannah House. Ruth enjoyed the faithful company of her pet cat Sheba.

She is survived by her two children, Stanley C. Gray Jr. of Weirsdale, Fla. and Mary Carter and her husband, Frank of Lebanon; three sisters, Rose Welch of Wells River, Vt., Mary Joyce Greene and her husband, Sonny of Weirsdale and Irene Heath of Lebanon; a brother, William Brown and his wife, Vicki of Enfield, N.H.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Gray, a brother Daniel Brown and a sister Rita Hope Ryan.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Monday June 27, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon. The Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon has assisted Ruth’s family.
