Grantham — The Grantham Police Department is now using the Hanover Regional Communications Center for dispatch services.

Grantham police had been using Newport Police Dispatch, but switched effective Friday.

The switch has streamlined the town of Grantham, meaning Grantham now uses Hanover dispatch for fire, emergency medical services and police.

When calling 911, residents should not notice a change in service.
