North Haverhill, N.H. — Kathy Lindsey, 66, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, as Jesus freed her from cancer and took her home.   “Today you will be with Me in Paradise.”  Luke 23:43 

Kathy was born on May 17, 1952, in Wyandotte, Mich., the daughter of William and Violet (Ashman) LaBuda.  

Throughout her joyful life God graced her with many blessings including: The love and support of two wonderful parents, William and Violet LaBuda. The opportunity to live in the North Country and experience the beauty of God’s creation every day. The members of the Woodsville United Methodist Church who began as fellow worshipers and eventually became her New Hampshire family. The faculty, staff, and students of Woodsville High School who filled her life with happiness and meaning during her 25 year teaching career.  The kindhearted residents and staff at the Grafton County Nursing Home who welcomed her to share in their activities and fun. The staff and clients of the Good Shepherd Ecumenical Food Pantry who brightened her Mondays. The many people who provided comfort, care, prayers, and encouragement during her illness. Above all, her beloved husband Bill and her precious sister Sue.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William Lindsey of North Haverhill and her sister, Susan Kinney and husband David of Southgate, Mich.  

There will be no calling hours.  A funeral service, with Pastor Clint Brake officiating, will be held at Woodsville United Methodist Church, 9 Maple Street, Woodsville, N.H., on Sunday,  June 3rd at 3 p.m. with a brief time of refreshments and remembrance to follow.
