Ellie Cantlin

Enfield, N.H. — Ellie Cantlin, 82 of Enfield died Monday, Jan., 29, 2018.   She was born April 23, 1935 in Enfield.  Ellie was the youngest of sixteen children born to Alvie and Lena Wheeler.  She married Jimmy Cantlin in August of 1955 and they had four children.  Ellie’s full time job was always being mother and homemaker.  She devoted her life entirely to her family.  She loved spending time with her husband, siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She will be remembered for her smile, generous heart, love of life and great sense of humor.  She was mother to all and she loved it.

Ellie was predeceased by her parents and 14 siblings.  She is survived by her husband Jimmy Cantlin, her sister Madeline Evans and husband Fred Evans, her children Bonnie Doran and husband Joe Doran; Patty Cantlin and partner John Dziala; Tom Cantlin and his wife Deborah Cantlin and Karen Cantlin; her grandchildren Joshua and Missie Loupis; Jennifer and George Doran-Pena; Sarah Doran, Melissa and Ryan Bailey, Michelle and Tom Harkins, Bradley Cantlin, Jessica and Matt Belisle and Mason Balch and 12 great-grandchildren.  

Arrangements are being made by Ricker Funeral home.  Her memorial service will be held at the Community Lutheran Church in Enfield on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
