Grantham, N.H. — Clifford H. Boyce, Jr., 80, of Grantham, N.H., and formerly Pembroke, Mass. and South Glastonbury, Conn., passed away on Oct. 25, with his wife Gail at his side, after a ten year battle with cancer.  He was the son of the late Clifford and Beryl (Long) Boyce and is survived by his sister Diane Guimont.  Born in Montpelier, Vt., Cliff was raised in Claremont, N.H., graduating from Stevens High, class of 55.  After a three year U.S Air Force European tour, he settled in Hartford, Conn..  Cliff held multiple positions at KF Brick, JP Noonan, Hess Oil, Reynolds Aluminum, Waters Corp. and was the owner of Boyce Home Improvement, before retiring in 2002.  Not one to sit idle, he went to work part time as an assistant to his friend, Ed Baillargeon, at B & B Petroleum in Portland, Conn.

   Cliff enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, gardening, hunting, fishing with his Bro and especially golfing with his sons and grandsons.  He loved hosting large gatherings for family and friends and loved a good cribbage or pinochle game.  In his spare time, he volunteered at the Newport Food Pantry.

   Left to honor and cherish Cliff’s memory are his beloved wife of 46 years, Gail (Wayland) Boyce, children Robert Frost, Cliff H. Boyce III and his wife Janet, Craig Boyce, Lisa Taute and her husband Don, Keith Boyce and his wife Lori and grandchildren Carolyn, Sam, Jack, Emma, and Ingrid Taute, Audrey, Erik, Alec, Logan and Michelle Boyce, and his loyal dog Fred, and extended family and friends.

   Cliff’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, Nov. 5, at noon at the Old Main St. Cemetery in New London, N.H., followed by a memorial service at Croydon First Congregational Church, 29 Croydon Tpke., Croydon, N.H.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish Foundation, or to the Newport Food Pantry, 95 S. Main St., Newport, N.H.
