Plainfield, N.H. — Otis “Pop” Goodwin, 89, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. Born Oct. 16, 1926, in Lebanon, N.H. where Otis grew up before eventually moving to Plainfield.

Pop was very active throughout his entire life. He made his career as a logger. In his free time he enjoyed Square Dancing with the Twin State Squares, Nights with the Twin State Cruisers, Stock Car racing, participating in Lumber Jack competitions. He was an avid hunter and shot his last deer at the age of 87, most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by both parents, his first wife of 42 years, Marie Pratte Goodwin, and second wife, Linda McGonis Goodwin.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Howland and husband Doug, Don Goodwin and wife, Debbie and Dee Fillian and husband Stan; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Thursday July 21, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, N.H.
