WEST LEBANON — With Christmas over and the Feb. 11 New Hampshire primary fast approaching, presidential candidates are stepping up the pace on their campaign visits to the Upper Valley.
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., starts a three-day “end corporate greed” tour on Friday with a town hall forum at 1 p.m. at the Fireside Inn & Suites in West Lebanon.
Then, on Sunday, Sanders will hold a “town hall breakfast” at 10 a.m. at the Newport Opera House.
U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., is launching a three-day tour next week that includes a Claremont “town hall” forum on Tuesday at the Common Man Restaurant. The event starts at noon.
Entrepreneur Andrew Yang is also planning a four-day trip around New Hampshire, including a 2:30 p.m. appearance on New Year’s Day at salt Hill Pub in downtown Lebanon.
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is returning to Hanover on Thursday, Jan. 2, for a town hall forum at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.) at the Hanover Inn.
And South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg is coming back to Claremont on Saturday, Jan. 4, for a town hall forum at 3 p.m. at Stevens High School.
It will be his fourth event in Sullivan County this year.
Seating at all events may be limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
