Perkinsville — Weathersfield police have identified the woman in her 60s who was found dead outside of a residence in Perkinsville last week.

Weathersfield Police Chief William Daniels said the woman was Althea Tucker.

Tucker was found outside of the residence on Jan. 26.

“At this time, we are still investigating so no further information is available pending the autopsy results,” Daniels said on Monday.

Police have characterized her death as “untimely” but said it is not considered suspicious.

Her body was discovered outside of the back of the residence by someone delivering fuel.
