Dear Trump supporters
I am a proud American, but the current U.S. administration has not given me any reasons to be proud of our government’s actions both on the world stage as well as domestically. There is a difference and you can be both at the same time.
To those who voted for Trump in any election, this must be the golden age of corruption for you. I won’t go through the many crimes or misuses of administrative responsibility by Trump or his agency heads. Plenty of writers have detailed all of that in the forum in recent weeks. The focus now has to be on the midterms and getting rid of all of Trump’s enablers. I would not cast a single vote for any Republican in America other than Phil Scott because at one time or another they have all tried to justify or outright support some unconstitutional action by Trump or one of his corrupt minions. We are stuck with this administration for two more years, but we can neuter them significantly by returning both the Senate and House to Democratic control.
In New Hampshire, a vote for John E. Sununu is another rubber-stamp vote for continued Trump corruption. Exactly the same thing for Susan Collins in Maine. The Democratic candidates are not overwhelmingly great, but they are a very good alternative to any Republican.
I seriously hope that no one is influenced by any of these ads you see (50) times a day if you try to watch television. Take the time to examine the voting records of these people and listen carefully to their comments when they are not in campaign mode.
Trump is a horrible human being and a worse leader for our nation. We must limit his influence on our country and we do that by electing people to Congress with the moral courage to stand up to Trump and his corrupt family and friends. I hope I live long enough to see Trump and all the rest of them locked up in jail where they belong!
