Thanks to candidates who responded to surveys
On the one hand, I was happy to see that Joe Major and Becca White dominated the section of page A2 of the Valley News coverage of the Vermont Senate Windsor District race on Oct. 23.
On the other hand, I am stunned that five of the seven candidates did not respond to the opportunity offered by the Valley News to communicate with voters.
According to the paper, all seven candidates were sent a simple survey and five, “Burrows, Izzo, Gleason, Murray and Williams, did not respond.”
I have found both Joe and Becca to be responsive and strong advocates for their constituents. They have my vote!
