Misleading mailer
We understand that political ads, postcards, mailers, radio and TV spots, social media, etc. highlight the positives of one candidate and the negatives of their opponent. Sometimes these ads are outrageously misleading or downright lies. An example of this is the mailer paid for by the Sullivan County Republican Committee attacking Jenny Ramsey. It states that, in 2024, “none of the New Hampshire donors lived in the five towns: Charleston, Cornish, Newport, Plainfield, Unity.”
This misleading statement must refer to donors to the PAC, otherwise, it would be a total lie! Why would local donors contribute to a PAC when they could contribute directly to Jenny’s campaign? For two, my wife and I were donors then, and continue to support Jenny. To disingenuously represent that Jenny had no local donors is another example of how political gamesmanship is increasingly disgusting, and is a reason why there is so much disdain for, and mistrust of, politicians.
Jenny is young and energetic, dedicated to the local community, and is committed to public service; we strongly support her and urge voters of Plainfield and Cornish to support Jenny Ramsey with their vote on Nov. 3.
