GRAFTON, NH — Ralph Edward Flad passed away December 17, 2018. He was born on December 9th 1964 to William and Patricia Flad in Concord, NH. He was the third of five boys. He spent his childhood growing up in Concord, NH and was a member of the Concord Boys Club and attended Camp Andrews in Danbury, NH throughout the 70’s, where he enjoyed playing hockey, riding BMX, and participating in camping trips. Growing up with his brothers, he shared a love for music, motorsports and socializing.
In the later years of adolescents, he moved to Danbury with his family where he established North Country Sound and Lighting. For many years he DJ’d weddings and events, before taking a job with Trumbull Nelson in Hanover, NH. With T-N he worked as a painter for 15 years, and placed roots in Grafton, NH. In the last few years of his life he worked loyally side by side with his brother Harry. Ralph was a valued member of his family and will greatly be missed by all. His humor and light will always be remembered.
Ralph is survived by his mother Patricia Degreenia and her husband Les of Lyndon, VT; his brothers Harry Flad and his wife Linda of Enfield, NH; William Flad and his wife Payao of Rochester, NH; John Flad of Claremont, NH; Phillip (Whitey) Flad and his partner Lynn Brown of Grafton, NH; A daughter, Jessica Ploof and boyfriend Larry Farley of Milton, VT; Grandchildren, Michayla, Samantha and Wyatt; and many nieces and nephews. Ralph is preceded by his father, William Flad of Grafton, NH.
A celebration of life for Ralph will be held at a later date at his residence in Grafton, NH.
