An interesting comparison

The 9/11 edition of the Valley News had an interesting, but questionable contrast, of information. On the front page, there was an article about the plans for replacing the “dry bridge” at the end of Route 12A in West Lebanon, that is expected to take a year to complete. In the same paper, there was a column by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy about the better use of America’s transportation infrastructure: He cited the fact that the Golden State Bridge took only 4½ years to complete.

Such an interesting juxtaposition of contrasts as to the time needed to complete a bridge. Understanding that there are many variables in the two situations. But really! It does raise some issues to be investigated.
