On Saturday, Dartmouthโs football team finished the spring season with its annual spring game, and for the second year in a row, the contest was moved into the Graham Indoor Practice Facility due to the weather.
โI thought our team ended the spring on a high note. Both sides of the ball played with max effort and a sense of urgency,โ said Head Coach Sammy McCorkle in a news release from the college.
โThe offense had a few explosive plays, the defense flew around to the ball, and the offensive and defensive lines battled up front the entire scrimmage,โ he added.
Additionally, the Big Green named their captains for the upcoming season, all of whom are seniors. Quarterback Grayson Saunier, defensive lineman Joshua Johnson, and safety Harrison Keith were tabbed for the roles.
Dartmouth opens the 2026 season on the road against Lehigh University on Sept. 19.
