Yes on Article 7
On Tuesday, May 12, vote “YES” on Article #7 on the Town Meeting ballot to help create a more reasonable path for housing development in Hanover.
Article #7 allows construction of duplexes on lots in the single residence zones, whereas the current ordinance allows much larger buildings on these small properties: triplexes, four plexes, townhouses and courtyard units.
Permitting duplexes to be added to the town’s housing stock will accomplish the goal of providing more options for more people without over building. Vote “ YES” on #7.
