HARTLAND — Voters narrowly approved an $11.1 million school budget at the polls on Tuesday, 320-311.

The board originally warned a budget of $11.5 million in January, which it later rescinded in order to make spending cuts.

They also approved, 443-187, an article proposing to withdraw $10,000 from the capital reserve fund to address safety issues on the elementary school playground.

There are 2,960 voters on Hartland’s checklist.
