Clara Pia Frechette

Keene, NH – Clara Pia Frechette, 63, of Keene, NH, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2026. She was born on February 22, 1962, in Newport, RI, to the late Doris and Henri Frechette Sr. Clara was raised in Claremont, NH, where she lived from early childhood through her teenage years.

Clara lived a life shaped by resilience, strong convictions, and deep loyalty to the people and causes she cared about. She brought dedication and intelligence to everything she committed herself to and valued independence and standing her ground.

She is survived by her daughter, Dori Nadeau. She was predeceased by her son, Adam Nadeau, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life. Clara is also survived by her siblings, Diane Frechette, Pauline Rock, Guy Frechette, Alice Frechette Johns, Rachel Frechette, Joseph Frechette, Marie Neilson, Lorraine Chance, Celeste Bourque, several nieces and nephews and she was predeceased by her brother, Henri Frechette Jr.

Those who knew Clara understood that she was thoughtful, determined, and capable of great strength, qualities she brought to her work as Operations Manager at Stonewall Farm, a role she took great pride in and to which she devoted her energy and commitment.

In accordance with her wishes, Clara will be cremated, and services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clara’s memory to Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Road, Keene, NH 03431, an organization that was especially meaningful to her and reflected her dedication to the local community.
