Results: Randolph voters reject library budget, elect Selectboard members in contested races

RANDOLPH — Voters rejected a proposed $458,000 budget for the Kimball Public Library 451 to 507 at the polls Tuesday.

They elected Emery Mattheis for a three-year Selectboard term and Bethany Silloway for a two-year term.

Mattheis defeated Ashley Lincoln by just 20 votes, 480-460, while Silloway won over Dustin Adams, 514-418.

All other articles passed, including a $3.5 million operating budget, $2.5 million for the highway budget and expenses for police district, water district and sewer district operations and ambulance services.
