BETHEL โ€” During Tuesday’s floor meeting, voters approved a budget of $3.33 million, with $2.8 million to come from taxes.

They also approved using funds from the undesignated fund balance, with no tax impact, to purchase a grader for up to $425,000; a containment unit for filling air bottles for the fire department for up to $80,000; and to outfit a new fire truck with hose, nozzles and tools for up to $65,000.

In uncontested races at the polls, voters elected three to the Selectboard: Denise Guilmette earned a three-year term, Jed Scott two years, and Ben Roberts one year.

Of the town’s 1,397 registered voters, 156 attended the floor meeting and 151 cast ballots Australian ballots.
