Randy B. Caswell

Tunbridge, VT – Randy Caswell, 74, passed away February 9, 2026 at Genesis nursing home after a long illness. He was a native Vermonter born April 5, 1951 to Leona (Fisk) and Charles Caswell.

He was a member of VT National Guard. For years, he ran his own sawdust delivery business trucking sawdust from saw mills in Grantham, New Hampshire to local farms and nurseries. He was an avid reader of old western fiction and modern novels. Having a firearm license allowed Randy to pursue his passion of buying and selling firearms. He reloaded boxes of ammo for hunters and marksmen. Randy loved fishing and hunting and learned these skills from his Dad, Grandpa Fisk, and Uncles Sam and Rodney Fisk. Over the years, Randy successfully hunted ME, NH, VT, NM, CO, and MT.

He was always there for family and friends when they needed a helping hand.

He was predeceased by his parents Leona and Charles Caswell, Uncle Sam Fisk, Matt Caswell, Aunts Lorraine, Lillian, and Marie, several cousins, and dear friend Tom Randall.

He is survived by his sister Maureen Caswell, Rodney, Mary, Brian and Craig Fisk, and 10 cousins.

A special thanks to Nurse Jodi Hoyt of Tunbridge, doctors and nurses at Dartmouth and Genesis. and local friends and relatives Craig Chapman, Jim Kendall, Rod, Mary and Brian Fisk, Judy Tucker, Shirley Boles, Brian Manning, Bob Crawford, and all others that continued to help Randy when he could no longer help himself. He will be deeply missed by all those that were lucky enough to have known him.
