The Big Green picked up two more wins to continue their undefeated start to the season.

It started with a rout of visiting Vermont on Friday, 7-2. 

Dartmouth had seven different scorers in the win, including Hank Cleaves, Jason Stefanek, Nathan Morin, Colin Grable, Eric Charpentier, Cooper Cleaves and Alex Krause. 

The Big Green followed up with another victory on Saturday, defeating Merrimack at home, 1-0. 

CJ Foley, who was named the ECAC Defender of the Week, scored what proved to be the game-deciding goal in the first period, and Emmett Croteau had 24 saves. 

Dartmouth is now 8-0 overall, and 4-0 in conference play. The Big Green are 10th in the latest top 20 poll, two spots behind Quinnipiac, which is the highest ranked ECAC team.

Dartmouth faces two Ivy League opponents at home this weekend, Brown on Friday and Yale on Saturday.

Menโ€™s basketball picks up second straight win 

Dartmouth traveled to Jersey City, N.J., on Saturday to battle Saint Peterโ€™s and came out on top, 87-61, for its second consecutive win. 

Brandon Mitchell-Day led the Big Green in scoring with 23 points. Jackson Munro also had a solid day for Dartmouth with a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double. 

The Big Green are now 2-3 overall. Dartmouth returns to the court on Wednesday at home against in-state rival UNH. Then the team heads out West, where it will take on Wyoming of the Mountain West Conference in Cheyenne on Saturday.

Football athletes earn accolades 

The Big Green were well represented on the All-Ivy teams. 

Senior tight end Chris Corbo, senior running back D.J. Crowther, senior offensive lineman Delby Lemieux, senior linebacker Thaddeus Gianaris, senior defensive back Sean Williams, and senior defensive lineman Dakota Quiรฑonez were named to the All-Ivy First Team. 

Dartmouth representatives on the Second Team are senior offensive lineman Maxwell Wentz, senior offensive lineman Konstantin Spรถrk, junior quarterback Grayson Saunier, senior linebacker Zyion Freer-Brown, junior defensive back Harrison Keith, and sophomore punter Luke Armistead. 

Additionally, Corbo, Crowther, and Lemieux were named to the All-New England Team. 

Soccer athletes receive academic honors 

For menโ€™s soccer, Douglas Arveskรคr and Panagiotis Karagiorgis earned CSC Academic All-District honors.ย 

In womenโ€™s soccer, Kate Ryan, Ellie Davidson, Hailey Rorick, Mary Lundregan, and Lourdes Lauterborn earned CSC Academic All-District honors. 

To receive this honor, athletes had to have played in 90% or started 66% of games and have at least a 3.5 GPA.

Womenโ€™s hockey losing streak extends to five 

The Big Green came up empty-handed in the wins department in its latest matchups on the road against Minnesota State-Mankato. 

On Friday, Dartmouth suffered a 5-2 loss, and on Saturday, it was blanked 5-0. 

Bridget Pringle and Miami Jones found the back of the net for Dartmouth in Fridayโ€™s matchup. 

The Big Green are now 2-9-1 overall and 2-5-1 in conference play. Dartmouth will have a chance to turn things around at home this weekend when RPI and Union visit Thompson Arena.
