Keeper of the clock, John Echternach, of South Strafford, checks the 1935 Seth Thomas clock movement in the Strafford Meeting House against his watch while changing it back to standard time on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Echternach recently returned the clock to working order after a year of not running properly when he found a bracket was misaligned and creating friction on the pendulum.
