He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Jan. 29, 1944, a son of John and Irene (Dunne) Anderson. Jack attended City University of N.Y. for three years. On Sept. 10, 1977, he married Viera Markovich.
Jack was a self employed metal dealer selling and buying metals all over the world under the name RVR, Inc. In 1984, Jack and Viera made the move to beautiful Vermont where they lived for a couple years in Norwich. They found their home in Newbury in 1986. Jack and Viera loved to take drives around Vermont and New Hampshire. Jack took up vegetable gardening in his later years and loved to share his vegetables with friends. He loved his two cats, Alex and Chloe.
He was predeceased by his father, John Anderson and a brother, Thomas Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Viera (Markovich) Anderson of Newbury; his mother, Irene Anderson of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Janet Jaskot of New York; two brothers, Robert Anderson of New Jersey and James Anderson of New York; a brother-in-law, Martin Markovich of Florida; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and an uncle.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial mass will be on Thursday, Aug. 10, at 3 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, N.H., with Father Alan Tremblay as celebrant.
