West Fairlee, Vt. —
Russell, son of predeceased Leroy & Mary (Brown) Kingsbury, was born Feb. 28, 1941, in Randolph, Vt.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie (Bailey) Kingsbury from Lyme, N.H. Also, survived by his three sons: Joseph (Sharm) Audette of Pa., Mark (Kelly) Audette of Vt., Christopher of N.H.; and one daughter, Carmen (Phill) Goneir of Vt. from previous marriage to Barbara Patnode; and one son, Scott (Lisa) Bailey of N.H. from his wife, Debbie Kingsbury; as well as 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves two sisters: Annette (John) Miller of N.H., Erma (Paul) Reahume of N.H.; one brother, Denny (Florence) Kingsbury of Fla. and one predeceased brother, Karlton Kingsbury; two brothers-in-law: Morton R (Kathy) Bailey and Danny (Millie) Bailey of N.H.
During Russell’s lifetime, he served in the Army and National Guard, owned the Shell Station in South Royalton at Rte. 110 & 14, worked at Lyman’s Lumber Mill in Royalton, Vt., as well as many machine shops in the area. He retired in 2003 after 23 years at NJM in Lebanon, N.H. He enjoyed helping his brother-in-law, Danny on the farm as well as helping his best friend Steve Bolles build his new home.
Russell enjoyed outdoor life, animals, racing where he was crew chief for his wife, and just helping others.
Memorial/Remembrance will be held Jan. 7, 2017, at the Academy building in Royalton, Vt., on Route 14 from noon to 5 p.m. Some food will be provided; bring a dish if you wish to.
