Gabriel Blanche was arrested early Saturday morning after Lebanon police said he “sped away” from an officer who tried to stop the truck after Blanche crossed a double-yellow line and passed another vehicle.
Lebanon police followed the 1-ton dump truck and said the motorist lost control and rolled the truck onto its side around 12;22 a.m., striking the front of 104 School St., which is also Route 120, damaging the front of the home.
Police said Blanche was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center following the crash, treated for minor injuries, and then released into police custody. The truck was stolen from a residence in Grantham, police said in a news release.
Blanche appeared in Lebanon District Court Monday to face two felony counts of receiving stolen property, felony counts of reckless conduct and criminal mischief, and misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated. disobeying an officer and driving after suspension.
Police said the crash caused “significant damage” to the front of the home.
Nobody inside was injured.
Blanche is due back in court on April 11 for a probable cause hearing.

Police executing a search in September 2015 found hundreds of still images of child pornography on the personal computer of Allen Langlois, according to a news release issued Monday. The find arose from an FBI investigation that tracked an Internet user accessing a flagged website to Langlois’ Newport home.
Langlois has made a plea agreement for a sentence of 42 months in prison, with an extended period” of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000, according to the release. Sentencing in his case is scheduled for July.

The bill also would make the age for using tobacco products uniform with that for purchasing and possessing alcohol.
Separately, lawmakers are considering a bill to legalize possession of up to an ounce of marijuana, also by someone 21 or older.
