ENFIELD, NH — Maxine M. Bean, 87 passed away Sunday February 9, 2020 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born on August 7, 1932, daughter to the late Max M. & Eileen (Wilson) Mousley of South Strafford, VT. She graduated from Thetford Academy, class of 1950. She was married to G. Dana Bean on October 10, 1953. Maxine worked as a waitress in various restaurants in the Hanover area. She then worked for Dartmouth College in the Life Science Department for over 30 years before her retirement. She and Dana built their home on Crystal Lake where they raised their sons and have lived since 1967. She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Maxine is survived by her husband G. Dana of Enfield, NH, two sons Steve of White River Junction, VT and Rick of Enfield Center, NH, three grandchildren Rick Jr. (Nikki) of Nashua, NH, Alan (Cheryl) of Orford, NH and Jessie Sousa (Mike) of Grafton, NH, two great grandchildren Brianna and Katrina, two brothers Mick Mousley (Mary) of Straford, VT and William Mousley (Mary Ann) of Enfield, NH. Maxine was predeceased by a son Timothy Max, a brother Spike Mousley and a daughter in law Judy Bean.

Family and friends are invited to Maxine’s calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday February 13th from 6 to 8 PM. Maxine will not be having a funeral. She will be buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in South Strafford, VT. Her graveside service will be announced in the spring of 2020.
