Grafton, N.H. — Roy T. Mogan, 88, passed away in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017. He was born in Waltham, Mass., to the late Lt. John Mogan and Gertrude (Raynor) Mogan. Roy graduated from High School in 1948 where he was captain of the football team. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and the Reserves. Roy proudly served 27 years with the Wayland Police Dept. where he rose up the ranks to Lt. and acting Chief. During this period of time he began the Wayland Police Association and Credit Union. His greatest accomplishment was being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his sister Pauline Wright, one of nine siblings, and by his five children, Cynthia Mogan, Milissa Cone, Victoria Mogan, and Patricia Kerkesner and Roy Mogan, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to Roy’s memorial service at the Assembly of God Church of Canaan, N.H., on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at 11 a.m.
