Charlestown, N.H. — Jean S. Davidson, 78, of Ponderosa Park died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. Jean was born in Burlington, Vt. on April 30, 1938, the daughter of John and Madeline (Longe) Center. She was a 1956 graduate of Bellows Falls High School and worked for Gays Express, Newbury’s, and Fletcher’s. She was a member of the Charlestown Senior Center and was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 37. She loved roses and feeding animals.

On May 10, 1963, she married John “Red” Davidson who survives. Also surviving is her son, Gary Davidson & wife, Denise of Browns Mills, N.J.; daughter, Cindy Brown & husband, Bob of Unity, N.H.; sisters, Audrey Welch of Huntington, Mass. and Sally Dodge of Orange, Mass.; grandchildren, Asia Clements, Egypt Davidson, and Kriss Davidson; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and brother John Center, Jr.

There will be a funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Bellows Falls, Vt.
