Woodstock, Vt. —
She enjoyed knitting and anyone who knew her would have received one of her dishcloths she was so proud to have made. She enjoyed spending her nights watching the Red Sox and the Patriots, but her passion was following her grandchildren and great-grandchildren through their adventures of life, whether at horse shows, basketball games, or football games.
She is survived by two daughters, Corinne (Fred) Barr of South Woodstock, Susan (Ken) Spaulding of Woodstock; four grandchildren, Tina (Brad) Tuckerman, South Woodstock, Kimberly Barr (John Mihovics) of New York City, Nicole (David) Boynton of Hartland, Benjamin (Anna) Spaulding of Hartland; and seven great-grandchildren: Lillie, Kalem, Violet, Ryan, Jared, Tyler, and Libby.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Bob Aldrich, and two sisters, Marion Withington and Evelyn Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock.
