Sulser dominated 17th-ranked Miami at Mark Light Field on Friday night, matching his career high with seven shutout innings in the Big Green’s 1-0 win. Sulser limited the Hurricanes to two hits and a walk with 10 strikeouts to kick off what turned into a two-win weekend for Dartmouth.
The series loss was Miami’s first against a team from outside the power five conferences since 2009. The Big Green, meanwhile, has had a pitcher earn the league’s weekly honor in each of the past 10 seasons.
Dartmouth is off until visiting The Citadel on March 16 to start a four-game visit.
