Easley, S.C. —
Formerly of West Lebanon, N.H., Joe worked as a builder and painter for Estes and Gallop Construction. He loved his children, his nephews and animals especially his dog Rex. He loved summers at the family camp in Canaan, N.H.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Jane (Dolly) Estes and his beloved wife of 48 years, Gail. He leaves behind three siblings: Connie Estes (Richard Roberts) of Enfield, N.H., Debbie Estes (Joanne Cassidy) of Lewes, Del., and Stephen Estes of Tennessee; three children, Lisa Merrill (Dave), Randy Estes and Mark Estes (Anne); four grandchildren, Morgan, Brandon, Samantha and Matthew; one great-grandchild, Lucas; and several nephews and nieces.
A celebration of Joe’s life was held in Easley.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Victory Junction Camp, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
