Tunbridge — A 90-year-old Chelsea man died in a single-vehicle car crash last week on Strafford Road in Tunbridge.

David Mize was wearing his seatbelt when the Chevrolet Cobalt he was driving left the road on July 18 around 12:30 p.m. and struck a tree, according to Vermont State Police.

First responders extricated Mize from the vehicle and airlifted him to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

On July 20, state police were notified that Mize died from injuries he sustained in the crash, a news release said.
