Schaeppi — Torkelson

Norwich — Elizabeth Torkelson and Bradley Schaeppi, along with their families, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Andy and Gail Torkelson, of Norwich. She graduated from Hanover High School in 2003, earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies/conservation biology from Middlebury College and earned a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business in 2014. She is employed at Medtronic in Minneapolis.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Renie and Gene Waltke and Dennis and Susan Schaeppi, of Omaha, Neb. He graduated from Westside High School in Omaha in 1995 and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1999. He earned a law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Ore., in 2002 and is employed as a real estate attorney with Hellmuth & Johnson PLLC in Minneapolis.

The couple live in Minneapolis and plan a September wedding in Norwich.
