Article of note: Article 12 proposes that the town of Piermont adopt the Piermont Community Power Electric Aggregation Plan. This plan would authorize the Selectboard to develop and implement Piermont Community Power in response to RSA 53-E:7, which calls for New Hampshire municipalities and counties to aggregate retail electric customers in order to encourage fair and cost-effective access to competitive energy service markets.

Contested races: There are no contested races.

Budgets and spending articles: The bottom-line municipal budget for the year (Article 3) is $1,067,759. The total proposed school operating budget is $2,300,779, a 7.9% increase from last year.

When, where and how to vote: The first session of Annual Town Meeting (official ballot voting) is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, from 10:00 a.m. toยญ 7:00 p.m. at the Piermont Village School, 131 Route 10. The second session of Annual Town Meeting (transaction of all other business) is scheduled for Saturday, March 12, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Piermont Village School, 131 Route 10.
