Brattleboro, Vt. — Jordy Allard struck out 11 batters in a seven-inning complete game as the White River Junction Post 84 American Legion senior baseball team handed Brattleboro its first league loss, 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Allard allowed one earned run on four hits, and he walked no one.

Post 84’s Steve Cerrone was 3-for-4 with two doubles, and Tyler Hamilton added a two-run double. With the bases loaded in the fourth, Dylan Spencer’s suicide squeeze bunt scored two runs following a Brattleboro (9-1) error. WRJ (8-6) visits Bellows Falls tonight.

White River Junction — Post 84’s Brady Clark allowed seven hits and struck out three in seven innings during Tuesday’s loss.

Clark and Kyle Hamilton had two hits apiece for White River Junction.

Boys SoccerNorwich-Touchline IV 2, Bedford 2

Bedford, n.h. — Norwich-Touchline IV (5-0-2) and Bedford (3-0-1) battled to a draw in a rematch of last year’s New Hampshire Soccer Conference championship game.

Norwich-Touchline’s Luke Messersmith scored on a penalty kick and added an assist, and teammate Henry Kahal also scored.

Patrick Logan (two saves) and Anthony Stossel (one) were in goal for Norwich-Touchline, which faces Lebanon Central Supply tonight as part of a twin bill in Plainfield.
