The match marked the Big Green’s third straight trip to overtime and the fourth of the campaign. Dartmouth (2-3-1) won its first encounter with extra time, beating Rhode Island, 1-0, on Aug. 26 and lost its last two — at Oregon State and at home against Northeastern — last week.
Dartmouth is back in action on Thursday with a visit to UNH.

Lia Constantine and Gracyn Campbell gave Dartmouth a 2-1 halftime lead by answering an early UMass goal. The hosts tied the contest early in the second half, but Spanos netted a Schultz pass at 50:15 before returning the favor 12 minutes later.
Dartmouth hosts Sacred Heart on Friday.
Green Wraps Ga. Stop

Junior David Horneffer and sophomore Casey Ross dropped an 8-4 round-of-16 doubles decision to North Carolina-Wilmington’s Austin Hussey and Agustin Savarino. Ross bounced back with a consolation singles win over Columbus State’s Zach Whaanga, 6-4, 7-5.
Fellow sophomores Dan Martin and Peter Conklin fell in their consolation matches.
The Big Green will next play in the Ivy Plus Tournament at Princeton and Yale from Sept. 21-23.
