She was born in Hartland, Vt. a daughter of Eugene and Marie (Hunt) Driscoll. Loretta attended school in Hartland and worked for many years at Goodyear in Windsor, Vt. She will be remembered by the many people whose lives she touched for her generous nature and spunky personality.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dwight W. Lapine; five brothers, Eugene, John, Fred and William Driscoll; two sisters, Theresa and Catherine Driscoll; and great-granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Lapine.
Loretta leaves her stepson, Michael Lapine and wife, Tammie of Goshen, N.H.; stepdaughter, Betty Petrucelli of Windsor, Vt.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Lapine and wife, Brandy of Newport, N.H., Tina Rivet and husband, Chad of Claremont, N.H., and Teri Manning and husband, Jason of Concord, N.H.; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Francis Driscoll of North Ferrisburg, Vt.; and sisters, Dorothy Jacques of Shelburne, Vt. and Sister Elizabeth Driscoll of Barre, Vt.; many nieces and nephews including Annette, Robert, Barry, Hattie and Joanne Buck; and her dear friend, Sandra Norton of White River Jct.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday Sept. 13 at noon in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.
