Monson, Maine — Harold (Buck) F. Kendall, 74, formerly of Bethel, Vt., died peacefully Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his daughter’s residence in Maine. He was born in Freedom, Maine on March 24, 1942, a son of Theodore and Beda (Bent) Kendall. He was an entrepreneur to say the least, he tried his hands at everything, at least once always giving 110% of himself wheeling and dealing. He had an adventurous life, never a dull moment. His passion was fishing and he was excited to venture out on the lake and catch the “big” one. His smile and laugh were beyond words. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, he put others first. Recently, he was in the woods business trucking logs and firewood. He enjoyed visiting with his children and his grandchildren. He spent the last 9 months in Maine and enjoyed relaxing on his daughter’s porch very much.

He is survived by 6 daughters, Ann Erickson and her husband Kevin of Monson, Debra Nagle of Tucson, Ariz, Amy Preston and her fiancé Eric of West Topsham, Vt., Tiffanee Kendall and her fiancé Dan of Gorham, Maine, Echo Johnson and her husband Berthel of West Hartford, Conn., and Shainna Manson and her husband Dan of Australia; one son, Michael Kendall of South Royalton, Vt.; step-daughter, Mylinda Piadade of Sanford, Maine; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a best friend, David Goodhouse of Vermont; and his dog “My Little Lady.” He also leaves behind three sisters and four brothers.

He was predeceased by his mother, Beda; father, Theodore; one brother and one sister. There will be no services at his request. There will be a “Celebration of Life” held at a later date this fall to be announced. Arrangements are being handled by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service in Brewer, Maine.
